The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has officially opened the 2025 application procedure.

Applications at the moment are open and may shut on 15 December 2024.

To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant should satisfy the subsequent criteria:

• Be a South African citizen or copyright who originates from a house having a combined gross residence earnings that doesn't exceed R350 000 for each annum.

• Individuals with disabilities qualify if their combined house money will not exceed R600 000 per annum.

• SASSA recipients automatically qualify for funding and need not submit any evidence of income.
